The Central, Gateshead is situated on the Gateshead side of the River Tyne, between the Tyne and High Level Bridges, next to the railway bridge, and just up the road from the Hilton Hotel and The Sage Gateshead.
How to get there

Or all buses that travel from Newcastle to Gateshead and go across the High Level Bridge stop very close to the front door. Otherwise it's a 5-minute walk from Gateshead Interchange.
Car: There are two car parks in close proximity to the pub next to the former Gateshead Civic Hall, one off Swinburne Street & the other off West Street both of which are free after 6 p.m.
