Historical Information

107 was first registered 01.12.1988 and delivered to Busways Travel Services Ltd.

Allocated to Sunderland Busways from the start, with the Sunderland allocation being 101 – 114 (F101 HVK – F114 HVK). These were delivered in two batches, the first deliveries (101 - 107) having no front fog lights. The second tranche (108 – 114) had front fog lights fitted.

107 was transferred to the Stagecoach North East driver training fleet and was based at Stockton. Rather strangely two ex Transit Lynx’s were based at Sunderland for driver training!

107 was the last Lynx driver trainer in service with Stagecoach North East, and also appeared to be a staff shuttle at Stockton at times. It was noted driver training in both Sunderland and Newcastle just prior to its final withdrawal.
