Historical Information
Originally registered RCN 111N it entered service in 1974 with Gateshead & District, although legally owned by Northern General. It was transferred into the Northern General fleet in 1974 as fleet number 211N.
In 1986 it was converted to open top (O43/34F), based at Percy Main depot and used for many years on North Shields Ferry Landing to Whitley Bay open top summer services.

It was later sold and used on a Whitby tour and re registered KKH 372N
This vehicle was acquired by the NEBPT from Durham Travel, where it had been parked out of use for a few years.
We couldn’t retrieve the original registration as it was transferred to a car, but we were able to get another registration sympathetic to our area.
