Historical Information
This vehicle was new to West Yorkshire Road Car Co. Ltd in 1961, working from the Harrogate depot. In September 1973 it was withdrawn from service and sold to Archbishops Holgate's Grammar School, York in October 1973. In April 1980 it passed to West Yorkshire Social Club, York (Bus Company) before passing in December 1980 for preservation. It passed through the hands of several preservationists before ending up at North East Bus Breakers, Annfield Plain (dealer) in 1994 from where it was purchased by Chris Moyes in 1996.
This vehicle was acquired from the Chris Moyes’ Collection by NEBPT in October 2007.
