This was one of a batch of single deck buses placed into service by Maidstone & District. Converted to open top in November 1957 along with two others for use in Hastings. Used in this form from 1958 until the mid 1970s, eventually passing to Guide Friday and operated in Edinburgh, Stratford and The Cotswolds. Known fondly as 'Emily'.
The bus was then purchased by the late Chris Moyes in 2001 and thoroughly restored by the Oxford Bus Company, before finally being acquired by NEBPT in 2007.
